Jason Masterman has been working in the industry since his college days in 1989. He brings extensive experience in working with many large and small companies around the world with a variety of different application needs. His passion is working with collaborative technologies, especially SharePoint. Jason has also worked with many groups inside of Microsoft building applications, samples, and whitepapers that target early adopter programs before the technology is available for general consumption.
Jason has written several courses around Microsoft Technologies as well as authored articles for MSDN and contributed to books for Addison-Wesley and MacMillan Publishing. Most recently Jason authored courses on SharePoint 2010 and ASP .NET MVC2.
Jason has also been a speaker to thousands of developers through numerous conferences around the world. Jason has delivered conference seminars and courses on all versions of Microsoft SharePoint, C#, VB .NET, ASP .NET, Web Services, SQL Server, Windows Server, and IIS.
Jason continuously challenges himself to stay current in the industry by developing real applications. Jason has managed development projects for teams within Hewlett-Packard, Hyundai, and Microsoft. He really enjoys working with diverse groups of people to achieve a common goal. He is a valued asset on any project for his ability to listen, understand and communicate clearly with people at all levels in the organization. This comes from being an excellent communicator of technology combined with real development expertise and a passion for working with people.
