Recently, we began expanding our product offerings to include single sign-on functionality and are very pleased with the new capabilities of Microsoft’s identity and access management solution found in Windows Identity Foundation. Being a newer technology and one less familiar to HealthStream, we turned to Wintellect and their architects to prototype and evaluate this new technology offering from Microsoft. Wintellect contained the right mix of identity management expertise, along with insights into the newly released Windows Identity Foundation, to recommend a design approach that ensures project success.

At Montefiore, our Clinical Looking Glass (CLG) application allows doctors, researchers, and business people to analyze massive amounts of data to improve patient care and management. CLG is a very large application that runs on multiple machines and deploying the system had become ever more challenging. Customizing each deployment and then performing the installation for each new version was taking more and more of our developer's time. After hiring Wintellect to train our developers, we then turned to them for help in assessing this major product issue. Wintellect developed an extensible and easy to maintain deployment system that reduced our deployment time from four days to four hours! Wintellect helped us significantly improve our business, allowing us to focus much more on building better medical analysis tools rather than dealing with deployment and installation issues.
