Advanced Silverlight is an intensive 1-day course designed to help experienced Silverlight developers expand their skill sets to write applications that are smaller, faster, and more maintainable. With an emphasis on writing real-world applications, it goes under the hood of Silverlight and presents key programing techniques that make the difference between a good application and a great application. You’ll learn, for example, how to partition large, complex applications into multiple XAP files that are downloaded on demand if and when they are used. You’ll also learn how to use the Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF) to make dynamic loading simpler, and learn about the finer points of MVVM and the art of writing custom controls.
Advanced Silverlight was originally written for Microsoft developers and is still delivered on Microsoft campuses around the world. If you’re looking to go from Silverlight developer to Silverlight expert, what better way than to attend the same course that Microsoft developers do? .
