Silverlight for Designers

First there was ASP.NET and then ASP.NET AJAX. Now there’s Silverlight, the revolutionary new platform that transforms the web into a delivery mechanism for Rich Internet Applications (RIA’s) and media experiences. Silverlight enables browser-based apps to escape the limitations of HTML and JavaScript by introducing support for XAML-based user interfaces and managed code written in C#, VB.NET, and other languages. It enables .NET developers to use the knowledge they already have to build immersive, content-rich web applications. Moreover, Silverlight is a cross-platform solution that supports all major browsers on a variety of operating systems.
Mastering Silverlight for Designers focuses on the Designer side of Silverlight, with the primary goal of easing the transition to Silverlight for Flash and Flex developers and designers, and also includes training on the use of Microsoft Expression Blend and Microsoft Expression Design.
Attendees receive a copy of
